TRAVIS BELMONTES-MERRELL is an educator, father, husband, and member of the Deaf community. In 2018, he received a master’s degree in teaching American Sign Language from the University of Northern Colorado. He teaches ASL in high school and also serves as the ASL program coordinator at the University of Texas at Arlington.
